Five Academic and College Prep Sessions

Session I: Intentionally select clubs and activities that align with interests and spark joy, exploring leadership opportunities within these clubs.
Session 2: Explore summer opportunities that lead to self-discovery
Session 3: Target core competencies that lead to academic success by providing research-based strategies for planning, time management, reading, writing, and organizational skills
Session 4: Exploring passion projects to begin
Session 5: Selecting best courses to build academic profile, and researching local college opportunities for high school students.

11th Grade

Six Application-Enhancing Sessions

Session 1: Begin to compile a resume
Session 2: Plan standardized test strategy and consider test-optional route based on student expectations and interest
Sessions 3-4: Begin to compile a college list using demographic and interest searches on Naviance
Session 5: Advise on internships, volunteer work, paid jobs, and community activities
Session 6: College Visit planning and scheduling

12th Grade

Eight College Application and Supplemental Essay Sessions

Session 1-2: Complete Common Application, Adding Target, Reach, and Safety Schools. Targeting effective descriptions for Activities and Leadership roles within Common App.
Session 3-4: Add All Colleges to Common App, Complete all school questions.
Sessions 5-6: Supplemental Essay Support (students can have as many as 15 small essays to write, particularly for highly-competitive schools.
Session 7: Interview Prep: Mock College interviews and interview strategies.
Session 8: Finalizing applications, Essays, And Perfecting Application by ED/EA/RD dates.

Common App Essay Service

Five virtual meetings.

Session 1: Essay purpose, goals, topic suggestions, mentor essays shared.
Session 2: Planning, outlining, brainstorming.
Session 3: Revising, Writing Help, Revisiting Essay Purpose
Sessions 4-5: Editing, Grammar Review, Perfecting Presentation

Senior Crunchtime Service

For those last-minute reassurances! Review of entire Common App college application. Detailed report provided listing all edits suggested with full grammatical and word choice edits provided.
